SALES CONSULTANT

The sales consultant will work at the Sea Coast's #1 Nissan Dealer to sell both Internet and walk-in prospects from our entire inventory, including new Nissan cars, SUVs, and trucks, as well as from our combined used vehicle inventory. Our huge used vehicle inventory is well stocked with Nissan certified vehicles as well as many other make vehicles, including domestic.

Responsibilities:

  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot. 
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening  carefully to their responses. 
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects. 
  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase. 
  • Build strong rapport with customers. 
  • Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The service technician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

The technician will diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform work assigned within a reasonable time and quality in accordance with factory and dealership standards
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership 
  • Attend all factory-sponsored training classes and scheduled service meetings
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Familiarize self with all technical bulletins as handed down by the factory
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
  • Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts to complete tasks
  • Document work performed.
